Gamewright Loot™ is a card game which is both easy to learn and complex enough to allow strategic play.
My family enjoys playing games at restaurants. The challenge is to find a game that is quick to play and doesn’t take up too much room.
Loot, by Gamewright, is composed of a single deck of cards and can be played on a restaurant table even after the meal has been served. The game play is easy to learn and fast paced. A single turn allows one action per player: draw a card, send out a merchant ship worth points, attack or defend a merchant ship with a pirate ship, or play a wild-like captain or admiral card. The game play continues until all the cards are gone and one player has played out all card from their hand. The player with the most merchant ship points is the winner. Very simple. Or is it?
