Last day of school.
Today is Delsin’s last day at Gov. John Fairfield elementary school.
He is holding a gift for his teacher and has a blown out croc (shoe).
He was in a multi-age class (1st & 2nd) with the same teacher for both years he was at Fairfield. Prior to that, he was at a private Kindergarten in Portland. He has been a challenging student, but I’ve seen him mature a lot in these two years of public school.
We’ve added a routine of structured home-schooling to our day. I think it will help impress upon him that the lessons are to be learned and remembered not just processed and back to what you were doing.
We’ll see.
