Wireless Keyboard: Connection Lost

This is the most vexing problem I am having with my MacBook. Some OS update seems to have boned my bluetooth keyboard connection.

This keyboard thing has a “sort of” fix where you put a pea sized piece of aluminum foil into the battery well before putting in the batteries. This has made the problem less frequent for me, but I still see my connection coming up and going down intermittently.

What the hell kind of fix is that?
