Last year I got to W5 D3 of Couch to 5K (C25k) in October. Unfortunately, I hadn’t actually built up enough stamina, or found a pace which I could run for the amount of time required for that week in the program.
I felt disappointed. I wasn’t motivated, which is weird, considering I made it to week 5. Granted, it took me from August to October to get to week 5. I had to repeat some weeks. I didn’t run occasionally. Which must happen to other people, too.
Something about that week just made me feel defeated.
I’m starting over with a different attitude. The goal is to run. And walk. But, really, it’s to get out there. I felt great getting out there and running and even if I end up being stuck at week 3 day 2 over and over, that’s better than sitting at my laptop refreshing Mashable.
