Getting the party together

For a new Pathfinder campaign, I wanted to avoid the drudgery of character creation, party introduction and learning the basic roll-play rules.

I recently started GMing a new Pathfinder campaign. The players are mostly new to roleplaying tabletop games. I wanted to make the first session as easy as possible by avoiding a few of the things I dread the most: character creation, party introduction and learning the basic roll-play rules.

Microlite20 Advanced by Retro Roleplaying (Paperback) – Lulu

I’ve really enjoyed the Microlite20 role playing game rules. It brings back the fun of playing games like Dungeons and Dragons.

I didn’t really like the format of the rules though. I formated the rules and made them printable as a 6″x9″ booklet from Lulu.com.
