A professor friend found himself in a bind and asked me to do some technical illustrations for his research paper. It was a fun change of pace from my usual programming lifestyle.
I was an art student for a few years in college before switching to, and getting a degree in, computer science. This new challenge was to convey a clear illustration of the technical information about my friends research while clearly showing the human body. This wasn’t my forte. When I was studying art, I was more of the “I want to paint dragons” type of artist.

I’m no pro, but I learned a lot about Adobe Illustrator and my Intuous Tablet. It was a welcome challenge and I’m sure my brain could use more of this kind of exercise.
