I don’t think Winston Redford really visited my websites

I got this seemingly personal email from Winston Redford about my website. He has lots of personal details and it looks like he took the time to write to me as admin of my outdoor webpage.

But… the illusion was ruined by receiving one for each domain I own.

  1. I got an email from Mr Winston Redford as well. The scary part about the email is that he is using my domain as the email address. So the email address is WordPress@.com.

    Usually I would just ignore emails like these and block who ever sends it. But in this case I cannot block this man since that would mean blocking my own domain.

    My line of work is very specialized so I doubt that he has read my website or that he has a potential client list he can refer to.

    I hate these types of “fishing” emails.

    To you Eric – thanks for blogging about it. It is always nice to confirm that my first instinct about this email was correct.
